Angeleno

Appearance: It has a round shape and the stone is a cling stone. At harvest, the skin is almost black in colour.

Description: Flesh colour is initially a very light yellow but gets darker as the fruit matures.

Harvested: late February

Owner of variety: Angelino (trademark) originated in the USA and was released in South Africa in 1995.

Taste and texture: Taste is good and texture is as firm as an apple.
