Lady Red

Appearance: The fruit has a round-oblong shape and the skin colour is a red blush with a yellow background when harvested.

Description: The colour becomes dark red when the fruit ripens. The flesh colour is dark yellow and a cling stone is evident.

Harvested: beginning of January

Owner of variety: Lady Red was bred by Infruitec in South Africa and released in 1996.

Taste and texture: The taste is good and the texture is firm.
