Pummelo

Appearance: It has a yellow skin; flesh colour can be white or greenish or red. The fruit is very large, minimum 108mm in diameter. An individual fruit can weigh up to 1kg (3lb).

Harvested: April through to June

Owner of variety: Originated in Southern China and is the parent of modern grapefruit.
