Appearance: The rind is smooth and has a thin to medium thickness. This lemon has a high acid level and a high juice content. It rarely has more than 5 seeds per fruit and is often seedless.

Owner of variety: This fruit originated in California in 1858. It is harvested mid Feb to mid July (hot areas) and mid March to mid August (cool, inland areas).
